The Museum has its finger on new departures in artistic creation and, by means of a chronological and thematic presentation of its collection, it offers visitors a wide overview of the movements of 20th century art, notably French and European. The collection has grown, since the outset, thanks to generous gifts from collectors and artists.

An ambitious programme of exhibitions enables the Museum’s public to discover or rediscover major artists of the past and present, and also to become familiar with the latest artistic research.

Temporary exhibitions
Supporting an exhibition gives special visibility to your company as well as an opportunity to organise private events around a prestigious cultural event that corresponds to your values, your company image, and your sponsorship policy.

Acquisition and/or restoration of works in the permanent collections
As a contribution to the development of the national collections, your company can acquire a work on behalf of the Musée d’Art Moderne, or help restore one of its masterpieces.
This kind of support enables the Museum to carry out one of its important vocations: the preservation and enhancement of important art historical works.

Cultural outreach
Supporting the Museum’s social and pedagogical outreach activities makes it possible for them to develop their work with a variety of publics: children, teenagers, senior citizens, disadvantaged groups, handicapped people, etc.
Events, encounters, workshops for children, thematic visits, and family activities are regularly organised around exhibitions and the permanent collections, in order to make art accessible to the widest possible public.

You can organise private events in the heart of Paris, in the highly prestigious setting of the Museum and its collection of masterpieces. You are in a position to invite your clients and collaborators to visit the exhibition, privatised for the occasion, while having breakfast, cocktails, or dinner in one of the rooms of the Museum. You can receive priority passes, invitation cards to the exhibition opening, as well as catalogues (personalised or not).

How can I support the Musée d’Art Moderne?

Companies, foundations and private individuals can get involved in various ways:

Financial sponsorship
Article 238 bis of the CGI entitles you to a tax rebate of up to 60% of the amount of the donation*, and material advantages corresponding to 25% of the amount. The real cost of sponsorship, therefore, amounts to 15% of the donation.
*Up to a limit of 0.5% of your pre-tax revenue, with the possibility of spreading the excess over the following 5 tax periods.
Private individuals can deduct 66% of the value of the donation from their income tax*.
*Up to a limit of 20% of net taxable income (article 200 of the CGI) or 75% of your ISF (wealth tax), with a ceiling of €50,000 (Art. 885-0 V Bis A).

The amount of your donation is defined by evaluation of your action or contribution.
